Sunday Worship . . .

8:30 AM Communion Service:
   An abbreviated service in the Sanctuary, includes Preaching and Holy Communion each Sunday.

9:30 AM Church School:
   Children meet every Sunday (except summer) in the Parish House.

10:30 AM Family Service:
   Both adults and children gather for an intellectually stimulating, relevant and spirit-filled service in our historic Sanctuary.

   Holy Communion is celebrated at this service on the first Sunday of each month (open to all). 

   All are invited to participate.

Coffee Hour:
   Following worship, everyone is invited to the Parish House for refreshments and fellowship.

Wednesday Night Organ Concerts . . .

Organ music that is thrilling, beautiful, or fun; NEVER boring!!

 

Marcia Hempel, Music Director at First Congregational Church,

Harwich Center, will play weekly half-hour organ concerts

including classical music, hymn arrangements, and ragtime.

The organ is an 1892 Hutchings, rebuilt by Philip Beaudry in 1972.

                                                                              

These Wednesday Concerts begin at 7:00 PM & end at 7:30 on   the dates listed below.  $5 suggested donation.

Stained Glass Window Re-dedication . . .

First Church invites our Harwich neighbors & friends who may not have been able to attend the re-dedication of our beautiful and inspiring stained glass windows on Sunday, April 15th to please join one of the Historical Society tours of Harwich Center this coming summer or call the Church office at 508-432-1053 to make special viewing arrangements. 

 

For 125 years these windows have graced this historic meeting house in Harwich Center.   This much needed restoration of the windows was accomplished by the efforts of our Trustees and Bob Brown of the Harwich Preservation Committee and ultimately funding through the generosity of the citizens of Harwich.

 

We and the Harwich residents that follow us thank you.


                                     
Bible Study . . . join in the open discussion

The Brown Bag Bible Study Group meets each Tuesday morning at 11:30 to share

lunch.  Refreshments provided.  We begin our study at noon and end around 1:00.

Our thoughtful and open discussion is led by Pastor Tom.
